Three men, two women:

Curtis: 50s Middle-aged family man.
Mimi: 50s. Curtis’s wife.
Curtis’s Father: Late 60s who can play 80s.
Teddy: Mid 20s. Curtis and Mimi’s son. Elsie’s brother.
Elsie: Younger sister - 20’s.

This generation-gap comedy takes place in the hours before a problematic
wedding rehearsal dinner. The father of the groom is struggling to devise
the perfect toast to celebrate his soon-to-be-married son. Cultures clash
when a surprise guest is announced, threatening to throw convention
out the window. The audience will find Black Tie a charming, funny and
moving play.
