Murrells Inlet Community Theatre

The Murrells Inlet Community Theatre took root in April 1998 at the Murrells Inlet Community Center (formerly a schoolhouse), where it blossoms anew each season. A nonprofit troupe, MICT is managed by an 11-member board of directors, with support from members, regulars, newcomers, snowbirds, local businesses and the community at large.
MICT's "season" runs from fall until spring and includes three plays. Besides that (and rolling over into summer), we offer stagecraft workshops, a Readers Theatre, and a Season Kickoff that's a must-do for troupe members, theater lovers and people who like free refreshments.
Our most ardent supporters pay $10 annual dues and become MICT Members. This entitles them to vote and, if they're willing and able, run for the board of directors. The "running" takes place at the MICT Annual Meeting, held the second Wednesday of May -- and again featuring free refreshments, along with the unveiling of the next season's plays. Members also receive a nifty MICT Member card to carry in their wallet. (See Membership page and join today!)
